Now that Party of Five is ending, local girl Neve Campbell will have more time for big-screen endeavors. Next up she’ll star in Investigating Sex, an indie film co-starring Nick Nolte, Tuesday Weld and Robin Tunney. Cameras roll this month in Berlin.

Charlie’s Angels

Things aren't going well on the set of the Charlie's Angels flick. The script is in disarray and is now in re-write number 30. There was also a shouting match on the set beween co-stars Lucy Liu and Bill Murray, that resulted in production being shut down for the day.

American Beauty

American Beauty star Thora Birch will receive a nice seven-figure pay cheque for her latest film The Hole. Birch will star in the teen thriller about four teens who find and explore the depths of an underground hole located on their prep-school campus. Nick Hamm (Talk of Angels) will direct the flick which starts shooting this June.

Bad Billy Bob

Sling Blade star Billy Bob Thornton dumped long-time girlfriend and fiancee Laura Dern for Angelina Jolie, whom he met on the set of Pushing Tin. This creates some problems for the marketers of his new movie, Daddy and Them, which was a Dern “family affair”, including Laura and her mother, Diane Ladd.
